Easy Mango Smoothie Recipe

If you live in South Florida, you know that May through September is Mango Season! Mangoes are everywhere, and you can enjoy them in a variety of ways: mango marmalade, mango chutney, mango bread, mango smoothie, and the list goes on and on. We don’t have a mango tree, but between family, friends, and a few other resources, we’re fully stocked during the season. We usually just cut off the skin and eat them as is, but hubby requested mango smoothies this week so I obliged. Here’s a quick and easy recipe to enjoy this great summer treat.

2 small mangoes, cut into chunks
2 cups of vanilla yogurt
sugar to taste (I used about a tablespoon, hubby likes it sweet.)
dash of salt

Put all the above items in the blender.
Blend on Low for a few minutes, when all items are mixed.
Add a few pieces of ice to water it down a little (if needed).

See? I told you it was easy!
