My grandmother’s cousin passed away yesterday during a tragic car accident. The circumstances are eerily similar to this loss we experienced a little less than four years ago.
I didn’t see her often, but whenever I did she was always laughing, telling a joke or a great story. My grandfather says she was breathtakingly beautiful when she was young. I know she got to spend her last few days in New Jersey, surrounded by loved ones. And I know that while we are down here mourning her loss, she is smiling down on us from heaven, content with the life she lived and the legacy she left behind.
Rosa Irma, te queremos. Que descanzes en paz.
