Trial Run

I’m making a Flan Cake for my book club* meeting tomorrow. If it turns out well, I’m making another one on Wednesday (or maybe two, depending on when I start baking) for Thanksgiving. I’ll post pictures of the final product tomorrow, after it’s had time to settle in the fridge overnight.
This afternoon I ran to Target to get a Bundt pan, as I didn’t have one. I ended up buying a traditional metal one, but was debating between that one and one made out of silicone. I’ve never baked using silicone anything before. Is it better? Worse?
