Honing my culinary skills

This morning, hubby and I experimented with breakfast. We’d never made pancakes from scratch before, but figured it wasn’t much harder than the waffles we have every Sunday. We took a simple recipe I found, added nutmeg and cinammon to the mix, and topped them with syrup and whipped cream once they were cooked. Oh my, they were delicious.
I’m going to bake another Flan Cake tonight. I’m taking it to work tomorrow to surprise my co-workers, a post-Thanksgiving sentiment. That’s number four in a one-week span.
