A Christmas Miracle

I say this news story last night and it tugged at my heartstrings. A military mom came home after a year and a half in Iraq, and was greeted by her four-year-old running to her. Doesn’t seem out of the ordinary, except that the little girl, Cheyenne, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was an infant, and her parents were told she wasn’t supposed to walk again. She endured over 200 hours of physical therapy and proved the doctors wrong.
What a wonderful gift for the mother, and of course the rest of the family. A beautiful story, just in time for the most magical season of all. Merry Christmas!
