(Right under the wire)
Today my sister turned 28. My little sister. 28. Man, do I feel old!
I wish I’d gotten to this earlier in the day. I could tell you what a wonderful Titi she is to the boys. Or how I think she’s fearless, from moving four states away, alone, to running a half-marathon. How she’s so headstrong she does what she wants, when she wants, no matter what anyone thinks. Or about her quirks, like how she’s so true to her astrological sign that she’ll remodel her apartment three times in week because she got bored. There’s so much more I can tell you, but I’m short on time. Suffice it to say that she’s an extraordinary human being, and I’m so lucky to call her my little sister. Happy birthday, Maurita! I may not say it often, but I love you with all my heart. And the boys do too. 😉
