Easier said than done?

I am determined to start my diet next week. Really, I am. I’m going grocery shopping this weekend and I’m be buying all the essentials to stay on track. I also plan on walking every day to pick up Brandon at school, and making it a point to go outdoors on the weekends (weather permitting). I could take the easy route and take diet pills, but I don’t want to rely on something like that. I fear that once I get off them I’ll gain the weight back, and then some. I really think minor lifestyle changes can help me reach my goal. It worked in 2004, after I had Brandon and wanted to lose a few pounds for my high school reunion. I’m sure I can do it again.
I just have to keep telling myself “I can do this, I can do this”, and shut my eyes when I’m anywhere near the vicinity of sweets!
